The purpose of this video was to enhance staff training at the Forestry Commission, concerning issues relating to external commercial contracts. As a public body, spending public money, it is essential that contracts with external suppliers are managed efficiently and transparently, in line with the Forestry Commission’s responsibilities and ethics. It was therefore essential that this training video was engaging, clear and accessible to a large and varied workforce. With this end in mind, we used a variety of speakers, as well as uplifting music and an inspiring forest location. In addition, we also included text motion graphics, to summarise and clarify the key points on planning, commissioning and managing commercial contracts.
