Blue Sky Event and Media
Stage sets and venues are modelled in our CAD systems.

It means our clients have extremely accurate indication as to how an event will look and feel. Working this way also allows us to explore many different ideas quickly and present realistic options from a very early stage.

Concept development

Concepts are worked up in a variety of ways.

Once the interior space is mapped out in our CAD systems, any form of 3d representation is possible including, concept sketches, layouts, plans and photorealistic images. Virtual cameras can be placed around the auditorium to check site lines for any seat in the house.

Schematic Visuals

Schematic visuals are used to communicate the layout of a design without the usual technical drawings which can become difficult to interpret on a large or complex project.
This drawing was prepared for an auditorium installation and clearly shows the rigging structure along with the hanging points relative to the stage position and audience seating arrangement.

Scale plans

In this case an accurate scale model of the interior of Worcester Cathedral was programmed in order to determine the best arrangement for staging, lighting and the seating of 300 guests.
